you are a bit behind the times. Those have al lbeen around for along long time.

in my area, the various " lists" now contain all sorts of ads from scammers.
Everything from " rent my house while I am in Africa" to
" come paint my vacant apt,,I will send you a draft for the supplies,,deduct your payment then forward the rest to me in Canada"

These people are often from places where they are scared to death of " witches" ( Nigeria and such)

I like to play with them sometimes...and tell them I am a powerful Witch,,and because I can now trace them through the electronic channel , I have placed a hex on them and cursed them for being evil liars.
They dont write back a third time.

Yeah those emails automatically go to my junk box so I don't even have to look at them.

I remember one interesting one signed off as Ban Ki-moon. lol I'm sure the Secretary General of the United Nations is invovled in a UN lottery. :-p Better give them my bank details and become a millionaire lol.

sarah :-)

Hi! I normally mark as "Spam" right away for those suspecious e-mails, and never open it. But, from the USAA and FBI, I opened it and told/asked them how I can forward it to them. I beleive they need to know about these e-mails and they must investigate.

delete all this crap email....I have deleted offers of money more than enough to pay off the national debt. The bank ones are especially clever....even with the bank logo on them.

chking full headers may show an IP address in Africa.....most of the time the originating email address gives a hint that it is a gmail/yahoo scammer

Where can I find it? "IP address"
